Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and other water-related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, drowning, weather-related incidents, collisions, slips and falls, equipment failure, and exposure to natural elements. I acknowledge these risks and voluntarily choose to participate in paddleboard rentals, guided tours, or related activities offered by GetPaddled LLC.
Responsibility & Safety
I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by GetPaddled staff and guides. I understand that a U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jacket is required at all times while on the water. I may bring my own or use one provided. I acknowledge it is my sole responsibility to assess my own ability, stay within my limits, and follow all state, park, and local lake rules and regulations.
Assumption of Liability
I hereby waive, release, and discharge GetPaddled LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, guides, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from injury, loss, or damage to my person or property, including death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, during my participation in any GetPaddled activity.
Damage to Equipment
I agree to return all rented equipment in the condition it was received. I accept financial responsibility for any loss or damage to paddleboards, paddles, life jackets, or other items due to misuse, neglect, or improper handling.
Medical Conditions & Allergies
I confirm that I am physically capable of participating in this activity and have no medical condition that would interfere with my safety.
Digital Agreement & Acknowledgment
By submitting this form online, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to all terms in this waiver and in GetPaddled’s posted Policies, including the Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. I acknowledge that this waiver is legally binding and applies to me, my heirs, and any legal representatives.
